Tucked away in a quiet leafy area, close to the commercial centre of Wakefield
Westgate railway station is just half a mile from us. On the great northern line, it provides links to Leeds. Newcastle and Edinburgh to the north, and Sheffield and London to the south.
The M1 junction 39 lies three miles to the south, and junction 41 is three miles north. The M1 M62 junction is just two miles further north, for access to Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Hull, Sheffield and Manchester.

Is undergoing a huge amount of regeneration. The centrally located
Ridings shopping centre is being redeveloped. The waterfront has
developed to provide residential and commercial properties, and the
Barbara Hepworth museum is located there. A major retail development is
being constructed along the north east edge of the city centre, and a
significant extension of Westgate railway station, with an accompanying
hotel and commercial development.
